“Aeroflot opens flights to Turkish Izmir from May 27
The largest Russian airline “Aeroflot” will open regular flights from Moscow to Turkish Izmir on May 27, the carrier reports.
The company specifies that the flights will depart from Moscow by Boeing 737 aircraft four times a week. The cost of a ticket from Moscow to Izmir starts from 25 thousand rubles, the round trip will cost about 50 thousand rubles.
“Izmir is an industrial and commercial center of the country and a major port located near the Aegean coast. Aeroflot’s flights to Turkey’s new destination expand opportunities for both business and leisure travel for Russians,” the carrier notes.
“Travelers will enjoy unique examples of architecture and museums, rich city life and magnificent beaches, restaurants and stores. One of the most famous and large monuments of antiquity – the ancient Greek city of Ephesus – is located two hours away from Izmir,” the report adds.
