Aviasails told where it’s more profitable to fly in February

“Aviaseils: Russians are more profitable to fly to UAE in February and take tickets to Turkey for spring

In February it is more profitable for Russians to fly to Abu Dhabi (UAE) and buy tickets to Turkey and Egypt in the spring, on average they will be almost twice cheaper than a year ago, according to a study of the airline ticket booking service “Aviaseils”.

The service has analyzed how prices for popular foreign destinations change throughout the year and told when it is more profitable to book flights. “In February it is more profitable to fly to Abu Dhabi (UAE). Tickets to the emirate with a flight in winter is more profitable to take at least two weeks before the trip. Flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi with a connecting flight in February can be found starting from 12 thousand rubles”, – analysts said.

“If you book a trip in spring, it’s advantageous to fly to Turkey (11 thousand rubles with connection and 15 thousand – with a direct flight), Egypt (18 thousand rubles without changes), the Maldives (39 thousand with connection), and Thailand (40 thousand with connection). Just to compare, a year ago, the average check on these directions in the spring was 30 thousand rubles to Turkey, 26 thousand – to Egypt, 58 thousand – to Maldives and 50 thousand – to Thailand”, – added in the service.

Analysts stressed that farsighted travelers can now find advantageous destinations in the summer and autumn, but it is better to book them as early as possible. Thus, tickets to Montenegro during these periods start from 35 thousand rubles with connection, to Georgia – from 17 thousand with connection, Seychelles – from 29 thousand with connection and 42 thousand – on direct flights, as well as to Sri Lanka – from 35 thousand with connection and 49 thousand on direct flights.

Service experts recommend tourists who have not yet decided on their plans, choose return flights. “They, as a rule, are more expensive than nonrefundable, but give flexibility in planning. At the same time carefully read the terms and conditions of the refund – they vary from airlines and may provide for withholding a part of the ticket price,” – explained in “Aviasails”.

Speaking of travel insurance, the service specified that it may not be suitable for everyone. “Typically, the insurance covers cases of trip cancellation due to injury or visa denial, provided that you have submitted all the required documents to the consulate on time,” – concluded the experts.
